Definiens, with guest soprano Tony Arnold, presents a contemporary chamber music program at Highways Performance Space on Sunday, February 24th 2013 at 4pm in Santa Monica, CA. The program consists of newly commissioned works Brassica: A Song Cycle on Genetic Engineering by Alexander Miller, Sun Songs by Jenni Brandon, and (St. Antony Weeps Over) False Gods and Mollusks by Elizabeth Nonemaker alongside Petroushskates by Joan Tower and Pulitzer prize-winning composer, Jennifer Higdon’s Piano Trio.
